i converted mine. i made it a short bed but left the rear end under it i like the wider look. the front had a dana 60 in it with the dually hubs but it now has a dana 44. im going to run wheel spacers in the front so it will match the rear.

if you dont like the wider look you can put in a 14 bolt ff out of a 1 ton truck and it will bolt right up. or you can put one in from a 3/4 ton truck but you have to move the spring mnts on the axle to match your spring width on your frame.
