Re: Fuel filter
The only filters these trucks had from the factory was in the inlet of the carb, very small filter. There also is a sock style filter on the fuel pickup in the tank.
Some people take the small filter out of the carb and put a larger filter between the fuel pump and the carb.
It is not recommended to put a filter between the tank and the pump because it could cause vapor lock problems.
