There are (8) bolts holding the bed to the frame.

(2) at the back that go through brackets that are welded to the rear crossmember (the crossmember under the tailgate) these bolt through the top of the frame.

(2) at the crossmember near the back, these bolt through the frame.

There are (2) crossmembers toward the front of the bed that have (2) bolts in each crossmember that bolt through brackets that are on the frame.
