Without your actually saying so, I get the impression that you like the 67 cab a lot better than the 71, and that you have some kind of objection to the 203 t/c. Is that correct?

Well, you are going to need the high hump, so if the 71 cab is bad, you could cut out the hump and weld it into the 67 cab.

Your 205 will not bolt to the TH400 without replacing a lot of parts or using an aftermarket adapter. The easiest/cheapest fix if you want an automatic 4WD would be to use the TH400/203 combination as-is. If the 203 is bad, or if you just plain don't like it, buy a TH400/205 already married and sell the other two transmissions and transfer cases. You will probably come out ahead on cash that way.
