IMHO the gear ratios(1-2, and 4th) are better on the 200-4r, it can be built to handle as much hp as the 4L65e, and it'll respond quicker to manual shifts with the mechanical shift system. This is something the computer control transmissions...with a electronic shift system just don't seem to do well...even with a tune.

Yes, for computer control, one complete system. I have played with the 200 4r for a long time and still cant get it to shift how I like it. I have the bowtie overdrives bracket and cam adjuster and still not happy with it. I have checked all line pressures and they are fine. It might have been the old 355 motor or maybe the 3.07 rear gear. I have a B&M Shiftplus on my 96 Z71 with 4L60 and like it, so maybe a good tune with it behind the new 6.0 will be better.
