Personally i would go with option #1, but I'm always was more prone to a classic look, regardless of how modern people try to make their vehicles look. But that's just an me. Are you going to go that whole "sporty" look or do you want your truck to look like a "Classic" ride? I've always looked at the lines of any old school vehicle and thought how rad it would be if modern cars and trucks had that standard today. But alas, its all tricked out ****e and smooth lines and giant rims that really don't fit, if you don't agree, allright.
But that's just me. I always loved the word "Classic". '59 grills look like teeth, and option #2 looks like you're hiding something. To me, #1 looks like what it was meant to be, an era. Just a humble opinion, you should do what makes you happy.
