I think Eric Vaughn did widening on steel & aluminum wheels. He widened some alum 15x6" TorqThrust's to 8" for me to use on my '93 x-state trooper Mustang back in 98. Most places would prob just cut the center out of the current wheel & pop it into a different wider rim (or 'barrel') for cheaper than it would cost to splice two halves together.

What type of wheel? How wide?
