I bought a set of used ralley's that were painted black....didn't care for the look. A lot of people will paint the rims bright aluminum and it looks a little like Alabama Chrome. Again it doesn't look right.

Autozone carries a "Wheel silver" paint I used on those black rims. The contrast looks good. The factory paint grays out and this is close to the correct color. Then to set it off I put a set of the deep corvette style rings on it and it made them look a lot deeper and filled most of the gap between the ring and the verticle part of the rim.

Another good look is to get a set of Corvette Ralley rims. You can pick up those rims for about $45 plus shipping so inexpensive. Run the covette rings and run either a Top hat or a Illinoise state trooper cap. Makes them look real deep and retro. My buddy runs that set up on his 94 extended cab 1500. He pealed the Chevy block scrips strip off the tail gate and had a sign shop make a new log in the old style Chevrolet script. Has a 4/6 drop on it Really set the truck off.
