67 chevyredneck, I know better about popping radiator on a hot motor, but I just couldn't help myself, I wanted to check the coolant level and see if it would relieve the pressure. I at least used a towel over the radiator cap.
This is my daily driver and I put on about 150 to 200 miles on it a week. It has been running normally except for what i perceive the motor to be too hot. Many years ago I replaced the cooling system because of a fualty gauge reading. I of course found out it was the gauge after replacing everything else.

Lotsa fun!
I will definitely open up the carb and check it out. I all ready have a rebuild kit just waiting for such an occasion. Thanks.
