uhm, regarding this:

Not completely true, my 67 shorty has 2-piece drive with carrier bearing.


And Tillman, short story, your burb has a wheelbase of 127"(not 133inches, dang beer..) while short bed trucks are 115". So it is not easy to do a frame swap without a lot of work on the frame (making it longer) or shortening your burb body. A truck (long bed) frame wheelbase is 127 inches, so you can start with a longbed truck frame and you will have to relocated body mounts and then modify the back end of the truck frame to work with the burb.
