When I bought a set of rallys, they had the later cap on them. I also had the same caps off my '98 Silverado and after comparing them, the later caps have little plugs in the backside, that when removed lined up with the rally bolt holes for the stock caps. Just used sheet metal screws from the backside of the wheel into the cap. Keep in mind this was on a 5 lug rally and caps so not sure if the 6 lug is the same but my guess is they are.

Another option, which is what I am going to do on the '68, I got the external threaded lug nuts with the 1/2" stud threads and then I can use the factory GM "lug caps" that hold the caps on externally, just like my '98 Silverado.
