1.5 was stock on all small blocks. the 1.6 makes your cam bigger.
it will add .030 lift to a .450 lift cam a few degrees of duration. has nothing to do with CID of engine or heads really. It's a multiplication factor. 1.5 times your LOBE lift or 1.6 try it with 300 lobe lift and you'll see the numbers i just posted . .450 vs. .480 .

then if you take the stock cam of appx. 266 lobe lift and multiply you get the added .025 of lift , stock is appx .400 lift and these will make it .425 with a few added degrees of duration.
on my 305's it added about 400 useable RPM. no bull. DAVE
