Ya good call, would sure be nice to run the stocker. I'm pretty sure the low hump will be fine.
Ok don't laugh, this is CIRCA 1990 and it was my high school truck. Small block with TH 350 (low hump). If a TH 350 will fit I'm sure a 700r will too.
