Since I am in the Air Force I have to register my truck on base. In order to get my truck registered, I have to comply with state law even though I have out-of-state tags. They tell me I have to do smog my truck so I have to smog it.
Thanks for all the input, I think I am going to put a dwell meter on it, adjust the timing and give it a tune-up after I adjust the carb. Then maybe for safe measure I will take out the filter before I smog it.
