I had some gaps between some of the body mounts and the tub so I used a feeler gauge set to get an idea of what I needed. I spent about $50 and have probably 5 extra shims. I bought an assortment of 0.125, 0.100, 0.60, and 0.50. If I did it again I'd go with 0.100, 0.50, and 0.25. That would have been more than sufficient size variability to make things work.

If I remember right I had 3 mounts that needed some spacing and all the gaps were different. Had they been closer I would have just gone to the steel pile and grabbed some 3" flat stock of desired thickness and made my own shims. No where near as accurate but if it was say 1 body mount that needed attention it would be very doable.

Good luck!

Thanks, Ya, I think I'm going to need some different sizes. It looks like at least a half to 1 inch on one and around a 1/4 on the other one. At least I hope that'll get me in the ball park.
