The only problem with that is the painter not being familiar with ther paint. Every brand of paint has different mix ratios that are recommended. Those ratios are just a guidline for best results. Painters become familiar with a brand and how much they should fudge the ratios to get the best results. I wouldn't want my truck to be their test panel...

This is true of most painters. A painter doesn't want to be held accountable for body work falling apart. That is one of the most common reasons a paint job to fail...
