your absolutely right. i know that you must have a radius at every corner (notch effect) in this case i should have researched it first. I have made a channel plate that i bent to fit over the frame out of 3/16 plate and welded it solid.

looking at that curved cut just blew my mind on how stupid i feel about making it a straight cut, i should have known better. but believe me, i plan on getting this saftied if it will pass, then new frame over the winter. this is my first build period and i have found many things that i should have done differently and then found this forum and found even better ways.
