If you have the money, have the room, the truck has parts that you want to use on your truck, have the time to sell off the parts you don't use, then I say why not? Unless you are not allowed to have a parts vehicle where you are you should be able to make back what you paid for the works and at the very least have the parts you needed for just a little labor on your part.
