Thanks for your help & I did find the number stamped on top of the frame rail near the steering box. It reads 32Z514012, see attached pic. Does this mean it is a 1973 frame? Is it possible that the first 3= 1ton, and the 2=1972, and the Z = Fremont?? Or is it for sure a 1973 frame? I know the truck was pieced together with the cab and engine from a 72, but I assumed the frame was from a 67-72 4x4, not a 73. I would like to know the year frame so when I order replacement parts for the undercarriage, I order the right parts.
Also attached is a pic of the truck, which I have now owned 4 years to the day!
