2.5" and some trimming clear 35's just fine.....why do you want to be that tall to tow with? you'll need to re-gear it, address steering and braking too. you'll most likely want a semi floating 14 bolt to tow with also. with that tranny 4.56 gears would probably be a good "decent" stocklike ratio depending on the weight of your loaded trailer and terrain.
i'm going with 3" tuff country springs, good shocks and 33's to keep it simple, i have 3.73's...but i'm not towing. the closer to stock you stay the easier and cheaper it'll be.
