Brad, just a thought for you. I was talking to my machinist and he was telling me that the 6's are actually pulling a higher core charge than 350's. He said that the engine rebuild shops will even buy a good core outright. Apparently, the laws of supply and demand are in place here. There are lots of 350's out there but not as many old inline 6's.
