i ran 35s on my 70 with 4.56's and now i have 38's on my k5 with 4.56 and i would have to say my k5 does way better rpm wise than my 70 did. one difference between the 2 was the 70 had a th350 and the k5 has a sm465 but the final drive ratios are the same 1:1.

i looked up the difference and your rpm's would be a little higher with 35's as apposed to the 37's you have now.
