I had my Q-Jet rebuilt 2 years ago for my Chevy's 350. What a difference it made, most notable was the increase in performance. My suggestion is to rebuild the Quadrajet carb; it may be the best match for the stock truck you have. If you should decide to change I would go with an Eldebrock 1400 series.
