Easy to replace without taking the window out. (1) remove door panel. (2) remove bolt holding the track. (3) remove old track material starting at the top. (4) with the bolt out you can side it past the glass and down into the lower track. Window should be down from the top about 5 or 6 inches. Be careful not to bang around too much while the track is unbolted as it will not hold the window very well. Good Liuck!
