Did you use the 700R4/NP241 adapter then too?
The front x member is very very close to my AC compressor. With out it you would have an inch of clearance around the pan.

I used the 2004 Transfer case adapter that came with the 4L60E. The transfer case end is the same as the 241 and 208's.
