When I put mine on, the belt interfered with the nut on the alternator pulley. So, I took the alternator off and took it to a local alternator shop. They put a double pulley on for $15 (parts & labor). There are different configurations of these PS set-ups though, so you will need to mount if before you will know for sure.

I would suggest that you mount the PS bracket and put the belt on before you take your steering gear out. That way you can add the double pulley on your alternator before getting "stuck" with not having everything you need.

That said, the stock alternator brackets on yours look a little different than my '67, so it could be lower which might work to your advantage.
