Cole - you may want to cross-check that engine code with a different source. the link above states 350 hp 327 (in 1962) but I believe raycow is absolutely correct - that was not available yet. 62 327's were available with 250hp, 300hp, and 340 hp in the carb'ed version and 360hp for the fuelie (referenced elsewhere, not the above link and the above link matches these numbers at least)- but no 350 hp 4 bbl version. so maybe it's just the wrong hp number in the link's chart above - or maybe it's got a different meaning altogether. sorry maybe slightly bum gouge on the eng id.

He was able to get the ID # off the back of the block (drivers side rear of block)

Anyother info would be great......he is debating if he should keep this or the built 383 he has laying around.
