There is no point in having huge lines with that pump. It says right in the discription that it has 3/8" NPT fittings, so adding 1/2" lines after it accomplishes nothing.
The dash fittings are measured in 16ths of an inch, so 6/16 equates to 3/8.
-6 = 3/8"
-8 = 1/2"
