The only difference is the 3/4 uses a larger ball-joint. Since it presses in the hole in the 1/2 is too small. The upper just bolts in and is ok. Any '67-87 3/4 lcr would work, I believe. Its just that if you went to say '71-87 I would get the upper to match just so the mounting bushings are all the same.

No one has found a factory 6-bolt that is a direct replacement. The prob. with using those 88-92 (if memory serves) is the distance from the back of the rotor to the inner bearing/seal is different. Thus the rotor does not line up in the caliper.
