The thread you were looking at was on using the "light-duty" 3/4 ton 6-bolt rotors. They were made from '88-'92 and had 6 lugs instead of the standard 8. They used the standard 3/4 ton ball joints, I think.

The ones I have seen had W/T (work truck) after the 2500, like the 1500 W/T's that had the v6's.
