That will only "kinda" work. They won't empty at the same rate. When the first one goes empty and starts sucking air, the second one won't work at all.

My truck has a second aftermarket tank and no selector valve, they just added a second electric fuel pump for that tank. Now I have an extra fuel pump if one dies too. It's not completely hooked up right now so I'm not totally sure how it's plumbed, but electric fuel pumps for carbs are only like $40.
