Re: Dual tank question

Mine came factory w\2 tanks. I've replaced the valve and the switch and it works, BUT, I have thought about being out there someplace and haveing the factory system fail. This is what I came up with to failsafe it next time it quits. 2 fuel pumps, 2 check valves to prevent back flow and 1 double throw double pole toggle switch so I can power each pump seperately and feed sender signals to gas guage. 2 indicator lamps so I knew at a glance which tank I was using. Putting the switch in some out of the way place would also disable the fuel system and help with anti theft by leaving the switch in the center. Just a thought. If you do it this way, post a message so we know how it works for you. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.
