Yes it will! as said regulate the fuel to 4to5 lbs max that way it will run when the needle seats in and still hold off the pressure.Also watch the edelbrock float level and always check for leaking floats.There is alot of leaking floats out there at least one of the two floats in the last 5 edelbrock carbs ive rebuilt have had a leaking float. This information is all pertaining to the afb style edelbrock not the quadrajet style.
