there is a bunch of info on this great site about this swap. The 700 is longer, and you will need to move the crossmember, install a TV cable, I recommend a LOKAR cable and the bracket to the carb. IF you are using a big cammed motor you will need some help with a stall converter. I have bought two converters from Precision Converters. Yes, they are pricey, but my 67 Chevelle, zz502 idled at less than a 1000, and had a 9 1/2 2800 stall. You could drive it 25 mph with no slip, and did not have any indication of a small converter. Made that BB feel like a SB.

The other converter was in a Buick Grand National 11.50 @ 120 mph. I would drive this car to Gainesville raceway (100 miles) and play all night, and then drive it home. windows up and the A/C on. GREAT PRODUCT!!
