I believe that Sevend2 is right, I have a short wire there that went to the smog components. My wire, on the other hand, is hot with the ignition on and dead otherwise.
KEH, Is it possible that you mistested something or there's a fuse out that might cause this reading? I used this in the past for my electric choke, and I'm now using it to trigger the relay for my TBI computer with no problems.
