I had the same problem thought the back plate seal was bad so i pulled the pump off(in my apartment driveway and spilled antifreeze all over
) and got a new seal kit for it and sealed it all up put it back on, and later that day i noticed it was still leaking and then went back to the parts store and they told me that the pump was bad so they got a new pump for me and it didnt look right and i told them that but the guy swore up and down it would work so i went back to my place and tore it all apart again and was just about to put the new pump on and sure enough i was right they gave me the wrong one so i returned it and the one i needed was out of stock and so i had to run around town trying to find a place that had the right one lol.
