I just read through this and was wondering why it wouldn't be repairable.I'm glad it's working out.I have a '91 (last year) with 6.2/4L80E and love it.I was making a left turn on a green arrow.I had stopped on a yellow light and sat through the whole cycle,so I was first in line.I started into the intersection and just began to cross into the opposite lane when the fool across from me decided he'd take off...huh?I stopped dead,braced myself,and had time to say,"Do you see me?Do you see me?",and BAM!!!! He ran his F150 full throttle into the left corner of my 'Burb.His air bag went off,truck pushed back 1/2 way to the windshield,steam flyin'...truck was totaled.My bumper got bent,fender bent a little,and 1/2 the grille busted out.I drove it off.I don't know what he was thinking.Wait,I know...he wasn't!

).I figure he was day dreaming and when he realized I was moving he just stomped it without looking at the light.He had all kinds of room to steer around me,my tire had just crossed the center and there were two lanes.It's like he was still day dreaming.You'd think is he was looking out his windshield he would have seen me
