I used the Herculiner brand on a 1998 S-10 I used to have. It went on fairly easy, but like it was said before, the look is pretty rough. I didn't care for the chunky look either, although absolutely nothing slid on it. It seemed to hold up for the 2 years I had the truck, I never had to patch it. But I also used the entire first gallon, and then laid down another quart on the bed floor to get some more thickness.
