More than likely it is a 33 - 230 ohm sender. This will not work with your factory gauge. Most aftermarket senders and gauges use a different ohm scale than factory. I'm not sure what the factory ohm scale is.

The easiest way to test the sender is to pull it. Put an ohm meter on it and move the float from the empty position to the full position manually. Check the ohm reading at each position.
