I got a new/rebuilt 180 amp 22SI Delco truck alternator on ebay for less than $90. All you would need to run that is dual V belts. It's not like a stock size alternator rewound to put out more amps, it's just bigger - therefore runs cooler, and puts out more amps when hot. It would be more than enough for a plow...
