RocketKing, did you ever work out how far back you could set the lsx? I have a 67 with a 350/700r4 on 6 cyl stands and I'm swapping in a 5.3/4L60E. The newer 4L60E is .40" longer than the 700r4.

EDITED for bad info! The newer 4l60e is actually longer than the 700r4 NOT shorter.
