I think you're right, I don't want to be wishing I had gone with the 6. I read that article and that was what made me really consider it. It just doesn't seem real. I will have to start looking for which cam will give me what I want. I really don't think it will ever see anything above 5500RPM, so I think a cam that works under 6K will be good. And your 383 vs. LQ4 thread was the start of my obsession!

FI would be great if I truly believed I could do it all by myself, but I feel more comfortable going carb. Every time I start thinking about all of the stuff I would need to do for FI, I consider scrapping the whole idea. I will be doing this all by myself, so I need to stay within my skill level.
