I had them both ways & didn't note any interference. That's kind of what got me thinking about 'how should they be installed' vs. how they 'look' the best to me installed. My thoughts were to install them so the upper/lower are as close to parrallel to each other as possible. Looking @ the BJ flange, you could see where there could be the diameter of the 'tube' difference which may/may-not help w/BJ binding if it came close.
Thanks for the pics Ken.... I'll look & see if that's how I had them (I can't remember @ the moment).
