Alright I'm close to starting for the first time with this motor but it's just one brick wall after another, After grinding a slot in the HEI dizzy for clearance of the bypass valve on the blower I thought it was going to work... As soon as I tried to put the cap on I found out I was wrong. I picked up a Mallory unilite dizzy for $75 buck today and an old school accel super coil for another $20. I was worried about buying a new distributor for the thing because I don't have unlimited funds anymore I guess it pays to work a parts store sometimes... If you ask everybody you see coming in the store for a distributor for a sbc eventually you will find one for cheap. So hopefully in the next few days I will get some life in the old girl.
