Seems more logical to take that money and buy a good mig welder (gas capable), Sawzall and a Heavy Duty Belt Sander. You can then mock up and weld your exhaust system and then still have tools you can use for general purpose fabrication.
Missed this one, but it seems like the way to go possibly. I'm sure it will be fun learning how to weld. Any good recommendations on a good middle of the road welder? My buddy has a $1000 one (Lincoln I think?) but that is Way out of my price range. As you can by this thread I'm not exactly able to dump a crap load of cash into this stuff. You know kids take all my money...
