Hello,

My '84 K30 cab-and-chassis has a GVW of 11,000 lbs. For what its worth, the cab-and-chassis frames were slightly heavier than the K30 pickup frames (either SRW or DRW pickups). Channel height was the same, but rails were approximately .030" thicker. They also have a heavy crossmember for the rear cab mounting, as opposed to the individual mounting brackets found on the pickup frames. Just something to think on...
