When going from an inline to a V8, the clutch linkage has an extra piece that you get rid of and the remainder bolts right to the V8 block. As mentioned, on the motor mounts, an inline six has the same mounts as a V8, but there is just an extra part that reaches to the inline six you can get rid of. I swapped mine and didn't have to make any changes.
