Rust Resistance Drivetrain Painting?

Hey,
I am going to be braking into my driveshaft soon to replace my u-joints and in the process I decided to repaint it along with my rear axle, and sway bar, while sanding the surface rust off of most of my frame and get the (falling off) undercoating off of everything....when I decide to repaint all of the sanded parts is there any special paint that is for automotive parts? I was thinking maybe metal rustoleoum paint but just wanted to hear some other input....and besides sanding the rust off of those parts is there any other prep I need to do to get them ready to paint?

Thanks
