I am not a mechanic,and I don,t have access to a hoist. I was attempting to get some pics, with it sitting on the floor. It is hard to access to get a clear picture of the back plates. I don't think I am confused, I just know that the parts I had available to me would not work on the 3/4 ton axle. That is the reason I had to use the 1/2 ton axle. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.
