You want show car or protection?
For a daily/ocassional driver I think it is just fine.
I cleaned my frame, did the rust converter thing, then sparyed and hand painted with rustolium. It looks real good to me and others that have seen it think it looks good. The frame/truck has been out in the weather 6 months now and it still looks great.
